Introducing Bob Brewer

Born in 1949 in a valley between walnut mount and pine ridge, Bob calls Morristown, in eastern Tennessee, home. From humble beginnings, Bob has learned the values of life and the importance of friendships he has developed along the way. He attended a two-room schoolhouse through the fifth grade and learned to sing along with his parents at an early age. Bob tells of his family gathering around the radio nearly everyday to listen to the Chuck Wagon Gang. Little did he know that the Chuck Wagon Gang would someday record some of his songs.

Bob's dad played a guitar and as soon as Bob was old enough, he too would learn to play. After moving to Tulsa, Ok. he began to meet new friends that would encourage him to sing and play his guitar anytime the opportunity was given. Remembering many humerous things that happened during his growing up days, Bob gleaned a great amount of material that he would soon work into a comedy act.

Today, Bob appears at many venues that create opportunities to bless folks with his wonderful stories about life growing up in eastern Tennessee. His songs tell great stories with a melody.

When you see Bob on stage, in a church or theater, you see a tall man full bearded, dressed in overalls, with a guitar or banjo strapped around his neck, a straw hat pinned back with a giant safety pin. In appearance you probably believe he is a straight out of the mountains kind of guy. That, he is for certain. When Bob speaks you hear one of the softest-spoken men you will ever meet.

Bob is a long way from eastern Tennessee, where he grew up, and he goes back as often as possible. But the memories of his homeland are special. Go see Bob when he is in your area. His humor and songs will bless you for a long time to come.
